I am going to teach you how to turn single pieces of content into multiple pieces for multiple channels, retargeting marketing or anything else you want to use it for.
2. Where To Begin Your Content Journey
Technically you could begin in many different places, but for the sake of simplicity and easy learning we will pick YouTube as our starting point.
Make an engaging, well-produced video and upload it to YouTube. Use solid SEO content strategy, don’t wing it. Your video must rank high.
The better the starting piece, the easier it is to use for content multiplication. The higher the quality, the more universally it can be expanded and splintered.
3. Divide and Conquer Content Multiplication
Now that we’ve got our video, we’re going to create a blog post from the video. This is where the magic happens.
Get the video transcribed and use the transcription for your blog. You will need to clean it up and apply a website content strategy or pay an SEO writer to do it.
I encourage you to try it yourself. You may be a natural or fast learner. If not, then at least you have experience to communicate what you’re looking for when working with others.
Watch Your Business Multiply Before Your Eyes
Now that you’ve got your first multiplication, you can start making more. Cut out video clips from the video to post on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc…
Cut one minute clips, or pieces from the transcription to create posts. You can also turn your YouTube video into a video or audio podcast as well.
One piece turns into many pieces of engaging content, spreading through multiple channels, increasing traffic, getting opt-ins, and boosting your email marketing metrics.
4. Use Your Imagination With Content Multiplication
This blueprint can be used to create basic variations, or you can think completely outside the box, get creative and come up with dramatic variations.
For instance, a simple variation would be doing what we did, but taking little pieces and turning them into tweets. Creating super bite-sized one-liners.
Or get creative using previous posts and material to create an outline for a video. That way your saving time using previously written script. The sky is the limit.
